release of The Neurex general public brochure 2

 

La seconde édition des brochures Neurex grand public est disponible en français et en allemand. Intitulée "Axe intestin cerveau: les pistes actuelles", elle traite du rôle du microbiote dans l'axe intestin cerveau, et en particulier, des données connues à l'heure actuelle sur son implication dans les troubles neurologiques et psychiatriques tels que autisme, dépression et anxiété, maladie d'Alzheimer, maladie de Parkinson, sclérose en plaques, schizophrénie... le rôle du microbiome est abordé, non seulement dans le processus de digestion, mais aussi sur le développement cérébral ou dans les phénomènes d'inflammation.

Die zweite Ausgabe der Neurex-Broschüren für die breite Öffentlichkeit ist auf Französisch und Deutsch erhältlich. Unter dem Titel "Die Darm-Gehirn-Achse : aktuelle Erkenntnisse" behandelt es die Rolle der Mikrobiota in der Achse des Darmhirns und insbesondere die derzeit bekannten Daten über ihre Beteiligung an neurologischen und psychiatrischen Störungen wie Autismus, Depression und Angstzuständen, Alzheimer, Parkinson, Multiple Sklerose, Schizophrenie... Die Rolle des Mikrobioms wird diskutiert, nicht nur im Verdauungsprozess, sondern auch bei der Entwicklung des Gehirns oder bei Entzündungsphänomenen.

A new Coordinator for the Neuroscience Network Basel (NNB)

The Neuroscience Network Basel hired Dr Anne Catherine FEUTZ who took over the coordination of the network, previously held by Dr Catherine Alioth and Dr Simone Grumbacher. Anne-Catherine, who took up her duties beginning of June, is also scientific collaborator in Reproductive Medicine and Gynecological Endocrinology team at the Reproductive Medicine and Gyn Endocrinology (RME) University Hospital Basel Women's Clinic.
