Global Neuropsychiatry Group (GNG) International Case Presentation, Webinar 2 (2023)

The GNG is a virtual group established to provide a forum for psychiatrists, neurologists, psychologists, neurophysiologists, clinical neuroscientists and others interested in the field of neurosciences to share knowledge and to learn from each other. The aim of the group is to make neuropsychiatry accessible across the globe. Clinicians have an opportunity to discuss complex cases and share research ideas.

The Global Neuropsychiatry Group is endorsed by the International Neuropsychiatry Association.

Denis Pavăl, MD is a teaching assistant of Psychiatry at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He is currently a PhD candidate, studying the psychiatric and
neuroimmunological features of autoimmune encephalitis presenting as first-episode psychoses. Pavăl is one of the founders of the Romanian Association for Autoimmune Encephalitis which he presides

Chairperson: Prof. Dr. med. Ludger Tebartz van Elst is a Professor for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg.
He is Deputy Director of University Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy and Head of Section for Experimental Neuropsychiatry.
His area of interest include neurodevelopmental disorders and diagnosis and treatment of immunological encephalopathy and other organic variants of psychotic, affective and schizophreniform disorders.
