Meeting/Workshop
CNIB: Neural manifolds in deep networks and the brain, SueYeon Chung, Columbia University
January 19, 2021
Basel (virtual) (Switzerland)
INTRODUCTION
SueYeon Chung (Center for Theoretical Neuroscience at Columbia University, New York) studies the intersection of computational neuroscience and deep learning. She is interested in understanding computation in the brain and
artificial neural networks by analyzing geometries underlying neural or feature representations and building deep neural network models guided by neuroscience.
Join the Computational Neuroscience Initiative Basel (FMI Basel) to learn about the last advances in computational neuroscience!
Each speaker will give a teaching workshop followed by a research talk. Full list of workshops available here.
To enable interactive discussions, the amount of participants will be limited for the workshops.
