Amoneta Diagnostics, a Firalis group biotechnology company, with a mission to improve disease outcomes and therapeutic decisions in healthcare through biomarker discovery, development and regulatory qualification that ultimately leads to biomarker-based diagnostics in the field of Neurosciences and more specifically addressed to neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia). The company’s MemoryLinc project is supported by the EC, key Alzheimer foundations in EU and the USA. Several blood biomarkers-based products are at final stage for regulatory qualification.

Job description

Amoneta Diagnostics is looking for a talented candidate to join the scientific high management team. The candidate should be highly motivated to match company goals of expansion. The role requires an excellent scientific background and experience in neurosciences and in particular in dementia.

The candidate should have the capacity to manage multiple interactions among the clinical investigators, the data-scientists, and regulatory team members under the responsibility of the CSO.

Job detail

• Full-time position (169h/month, 39h/week)

• Salary to be defined according to experience (6.000-7.500 EUR brut per month)


• Supervision of all activities related to dementia projects.

• Strong ability to work with data-scientist team to analyze complex multidimensional data.

• Integration of multidimensional data, establishment of models for patients profiling

• Strong ability to prepare and deliver scientific reports and presentations for internal and external audiences

• contribute to the regulatory documentations, negotiations with heath authorities, regulatory agencies, and payors.

• Establish and efficiently manage external collaborations to further validate diagnostic tools for dementia and set-up high throughput screening for functional characterization of the non-coding RNAs

• Provide scientific experimental guidance to support the team

• Support the production and development projects of diagnostic tools

• Proposal preparation to request funding of new projects (H2020, Eurostars, etc…)


• PhD with 5+ years postgraduate research experience in neurosciences fields

• Strong medical writer ability and good communication skills

• Fluent written and spoken in English

• Knowledge in the IVD diagnostic products, biomarkers

• Knowledge in data-science (clinical data curation, statistics, modeling, data mining)

• Ability to work in a multicultural, matrix environment

• Working knowledge of MS office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
