Neurex is the European network dedicated at federating neuroscience research in the Upper Rhine Valley, a territory located between France, Germany and Switzerland, and an area particularly rich in terms of research dedicated to the research in neuroscience. Our crossborder network federates 110 academic laboratories and more than 1200 researchers specialised in studying the physiology and the pathology of the brain.
In order to reduce the gap between the players in the chain from fundamental to industrial & clinical research and to foster transfer of technology, know-how and knowledge for the therapies of the future, Neurex organizes the first online Neurex lab-companies NeuroForum, an event aiming at gathering all the protagonists of the Neuroscience R&D dynamics.
This online Forum gives the opportunity - on 1 place, on 1 day - to exhibit and to meet the neuroscience players of the Upper Rhine Valley.
Academic labs of the Neurex network will expose their research, domains of expertise and needs in terms of equipment and collaboration.
A 100% ONLINE EVENT
The event will be held fully online on Virbela, a platform recreating a congress hall where each participant is present in the form of an avatar.
Companies and Neurex labs have the possibility to display pictures and slides on booths dedicated to their organisation.
The platform offers an ideal communication support and real-life type of interactions between participants: free moving around, discussion in private mode...

A few words of presentation of the tool through which the online forum will take place:
The forum will take place on the virbela platform. This is an open world recreating a virtual private campus, including a congress hall with stands and conference rooms. Indeed, each participant is present there in the form of an avatar and can thus move and communicate with other participants in the hall of stands, but also all around. Moving around is easy and the ways of communicating are varied (in public or private discussion).
On each stand, a powerpoint presentation, a film or a photo can be projected.
