INTRODUCTION

On November 15, 18:00 (EEST), The Romanian Association for Autoimmune Encephalitis continues its Webinar Series with an exciting event. Tom Pollak, PhD, MRCPsych will give a talk on autoimmune neuropsychiatry with a focus on improving the diagnosis and treatment in this field.

Tom Pollak is a NIHR Clinical Lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London and an Honorary Consultant Neuropsychiatrist at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. In 2019, Tom led an international team of experts in the development of consensus criteria for the diagnosis and management of autoimmune psychosis - criteria which are now commonly used in clinical mental health settings and shape research around the world.
